The legal owner of a domain name is the one listed as the registrant contact in the whois record for the domain. Each domain name has its own set of whois contact information. Always keep your whois information up to date.
Update WHOIS Information
- Login to your Control Panel at https://www.misk.com/cp/
- Click on your Domain Name
- Under Domain in the top area, Click Whois
- Update any contact information that has changed
- Click Save Changes
Load Contact From Another Domain
Use the Options button on the top right while editing to fill the fields with the whois contact from another domain in your account.
Review / Update Multiple Domains
Review your whois report to perform a bulk whois update.
Transfer to a New Owner
Updating the whois will officially change the owner of the name. However, control of the name and the ability to change the owner will still be under the same account. Give the new owner full control of the name by moving the domain to their own account.

To update the registrant name on a .uk domain name, you need to perform a .uk registrant name change.
