Zoho provides email that you can connect your domain to by following the steps below.

Verify Domain Ownership

When enabling email with Zoho and adding the domain to their services, Zoho will require you verify your domain's ownership before being able to use their services. This is done using a TXT record.

Step 1: Obtain TXT Record Value

  1. Login to Zoho Mail
  2. Click on Control Panel and go to Domains
  3. Click the validate icon (!) next to the domain in Zoho
  4. This will launch the setup wizard with Domain Verification details
  5. Click on TXT Method to obtain the unique value for your domain. It will be a long string that looks like "zoho-verification=zb*****.zmverify.zoho.com"

Step 2: Create TXT Record
Create the TXT record by following the steps below:

  1. Login to your Control Panel at https://www.misk.com/cp/
  2. Click on your Domain Name
  3. Under Essentials in the top area, click DNS
  4. Click Add Record and select TXT
  5. Leave the Subdomain field blank
  6. Enter the TXT value from Zoho under Details
  7. Click Add

Step 3: Complete the Verification
Return to Zoho, go to the Domains page, and click on Verify in their setup wizard to complete the verification and setup email.

Setup MX records to point the domain to Zoho's email service.

Create MX Records

  1. Login to your Control Panel at https://www.misk.com/cp/
  2. Click on your Domain Name
  3. Under Essentials in the top area, click DNS
  4. Under Incoming Mail Servers, click Edit
  5. Replace the Server Name and Priority starting with the first value in the table below
  6. Click Add Mail Server to add the other MX Records in that table
  7. Click Save

How Long will the Change Take?

DNS changes are made immediately and in realtime across our nameservers. However, due to dns record caching by internet service providers, it may take a few hours for everyone to see the changes.
