Change TTL

TTL (Time To Live) controls how long dns resolvers should cache your dns records. You have full control over the TTL value of your dns records. The longer the period, the fewer external queries dns resolvers will have to make and the faster your site will be. However, when you update your dns records, it can take up to this amount of time before all caching nameservers see the new entries.

Editing the TTL

We allow values between 5 minutes and 24 hours. Our default is 2 hours and is recommended unless you have specific needs.

      1. Scroll down to the Default TTL section
      2. Click the Edit button next to the current default TTL
      3. Enter the new value
      4. Click Save
