Uploading your Web Site using FTP

Before you begin, be sure that you have the following information available:

• Username: Your Misk Username
• Password: Your FTP Password
• Hostname/Address: ftp.misk.com
• Port: 21 (If you're using Standard FTP or Explicit SSL FTP)
• Port: 990 (Only if your FTP client supports Implicit SSL FTP)

You can use these details to setup your FTP client to upload to our servers.

Note: Certain publishing programs may ask for the a certain folder name to publish to. You will need to enter your domain name as this folder name.

Any FTP client can be used to upload files to your hosting space. We have provided step-by-step instructions for popular clients below.

Software packages such as Macromedia Dreamweaver or Microsoft FrontPage have built-in FTP clients and can also be used to upload files to your hosting space. We've included some quick setup guides for these programs below.
