Using Reply-to Settings

How do I use Reply-to Settings with my Email Forwarding Address?

Our Email Forwarding service is a very popular service and we often receive questions about making it appear as though emails are coming from Email Forwarding addresses. This is a fairly minor change requiring only that you modify the reply-to settings in your current email client. Please see below for instructions on how to do so in the most commonly used email clients.

Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Click on the Tools menu and choose E-mail Accounts.
  3. Select the View or change existing e-mail accounts option and click on Next.
  4. Click on the Change button.
  5. In the E-mail Address field, enter your "Email Forwarding" address.
  6. Click on Next and then Finish to save your settings.

Outlook Express

  1. Open Outlook Express.
  2. Select Tools and then Accounts.
  3. Double click on your you@yourisp.net email address in the resulting list.
  4. Find the E-mail Address field and change the current address to your Email Forwarding address.
  5. Press OK to save your settings.

Mac Mail

  1. From the Mail menu, select Preferences.
  2. Select your account and click Edit.
  3. In the Email address box, type in your Email Forwarding address.
  4. Click OK to save your settings.

Gmail

  1. Login to your Gmail account.
  2. Click Settings at the top of any page, and select the Accounts tab.
  3. Click edit next to the email address you'd like to set a reply-to address for, and then click Specify a different "reply-to" address.
  4. Enter your Email Forwarding address and then click Save Changes.

Hotmail

  1. Click on the Options button on the top navigation bar.
  2. Under the heading, Additional Options, select Reply-Related Settings.
  3. Under the reply-to address section, select Identify the address below as the reply-to address and enter your Email Forwarding address.
  4. Click OK to save your settings.

Yahoo Mail

  1. Follow the Mail Options link from the Yahoo Mail navigation bar.
  2. Select General Preferences.
  3. Type the email address you want replies to be sent to in the reply-to entry field.
  4. Click Save to save your settings.

Misk Webmail

  1. Click on the Options button in the top navigation bar.
  2. You will then see the Personal Profile heading.
  3. In the Default reply address field, enter the address you would like people to reply to.
  4. Click the Save button (looks like a floppy diskette) in the top right-hand corner.
