Our Email Forwarding service is a very popular service and we often receive questions about making it appear as though emails are coming from Email Forwarding addresses. This is a fairly minor change requiring only that you modify the reply-to settings in your current email client. Please see below for instructions on how to do so in the most commonly used email clients.
Microsoft Outlook
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- Click on the Tools menu and choose E-mail Accounts.
- Select the View or change existing e-mail accounts option and click on Next.
- Click on the Change button.
- In the E-mail Address field, enter your "Email Forwarding" address.
- Click on Next and then Finish to save your settings.
Outlook Express
- Open Outlook Express.
- Select Tools and then Accounts.
- Double click on your you@yourisp.net email address in the resulting list.
- Find the E-mail Address field and change the current address to your Email Forwarding address.
- Press OK to save your settings.
Mac Mail
- From the Mail menu, select Preferences.
- Select your account and click Edit.
- In the Email address box, type in your Email Forwarding address.
- Click OK to save your settings.
Gmail
- Login to your Gmail account.
- Click Settings at the top of any page, and select the Accounts tab.
- Click edit next to the email address you'd like to set a reply-to address for, and then click Specify a different "reply-to" address.
- Enter your Email Forwarding address and then click Save Changes.
Hotmail
- Click on the Options button on the top navigation bar.
- Under the heading, Additional Options, select Reply-Related Settings.
- Under the reply-to address section, select Identify the address below as the reply-to address and enter your Email Forwarding address.
- Click OK to save your settings.
Yahoo Mail
- Follow the Mail Options link from the Yahoo Mail navigation bar.
- Select General Preferences.
- Type the email address you want replies to be sent to in the reply-to entry field.
- Click Save to save your settings.
Misk Webmail
- Click on the Options button in the top navigation bar.
- You will then see the Personal Profile heading.
- In the Default reply address field, enter the address you would like people to reply to.
- Click the Save button (looks like a floppy diskette) in the top right-hand corner.
