Our Custom DNS service is designed to be used with a Static IP Address.

However, you can use our Custom DNS service in conjunction with a Dynamic DNS service. The Dynamic DNS service will provide you with your own personal Hostname that they will automatically update for you so you will not need to constantly update it manually.

Setup Instructions

1. Please visit http://www.misk.com and login to your "Control Panel" using your username and password.
2. Click on your domain name under "All Domains".
3. Click on Website Settings in the "Domain Actions" panel.
4. Select the IP Address or Hostname Pointing option.
5. Enter the Hostname your Dynamic DNS service gave you in the "IP Address / Hostname" field.
6. Click Save Settings to save the changes.

Dynamic IP
Dynamic IP addresses will change periodically.
Some Dynamic IP addresses may change frequently while others can stay the same for months.

Static IP
Static IP addresses do not change.

Our developers are currently working on a new Dynamic DNS Service which we hope on releasing towards the end of the first quarter of 2007.
