With the exception of .ca, .eu and .uk domain names you may update the organization name of the domain name by simply updating the WHOIS contact details for the domain name.
Updating the WHOIS Information
- Please visit http://www.misk.com and login to your "Control Panel" using your username and password.
- Click on your domain name under "All Domains".
- Click on Update WHOIS in the "Domain Actions" panel.
- You may then update any contact information that has changed.
- Click Save Settings to confirm the changes.
The .ca, .eu and .uk registries consider an update to the organization name as a change of ownership and require that you complete a Registrant Transfer to update the organization name on your domain name.
.CA Domains
To update the organization name on a .ca domain name you will need to perform a .CA Registrant Transfer.
