Step 2. Confirm the Transfer
To confirm the transfer of your domain name, you will need to login to your CIRA Account at http://www.cira.ca to confirm the transfer of the domain name into Misk.com.
If you do not have your CIRA Login Information, please contact your current registrar to have them re-send it to you.
Step 3. Transfer is Completed
The transfer should be completed shortly after you confirm the transfer with CIRA.
We will notify you by email once the transfer has been completed. You may then login to your Misk account and fully manage your domain.
How long does it take for the transfer of .ca domain names to be completed?
The transfer of .CA domains typically take between 4 - 7 days. However, these transfers can be completed closer to 24 - 48 hours if you promptly confirm the transfer with CIRA.
Why do I need to confirm the transfer with CIRA?
CIRA is the organization responsible for overseeing the actions of all .ca domain names. Your CIRA Account is an integral part of your .ca domain name. The changes to your domain name that require you to authorize them with CIRA are an added method of security in place for your benefit.
Why don't I see any pending actions when I login to my CIRA account?
Upon logging into your CIRA account, if you do not see any pending actions, the transfer process itself may have timed out. This happens at the 7 day mark if the transfer confirmation emails have not been responded to.
If this happens, you may contact support so that they may re-initiate the transfer for you.
