Subdomain - Domain Forwarding

A subdomain adds a prefix to your Domain Name, allowing you to divide your domain into specific sections and creating separate sites under a single domain.

There are many uses for a subdomain and you may create multiple subdomains based off of your one domain name.

For example, our we have created a subdomain for our Webmail Client which is webmail.misk.com.

With domain essentials you can create subdomains using our Domain Forwarding, Domain Cloaking/Masking or Custom DNS Services.

Setting up a Subdomain with Domain Forwarding

1. Please visit http://www.misk.com and login to your "Control Panel" using your username and password.
2. Click on your domain name under "All Domains".
3. Click on Advanced Settings in the "Domain Action" panel.
4. Click on Add Forwarding Record.
5. Enter the desired "Hostname" and "Destination Address" into the corresponding fields.
6. When completed, click on Save.
