If you choose to use DreamWeaver's built-in FTP feature, you will need to setup the "Local Info" as well as the "Remote Info" in order to upload your site to our servers.
Publishing using DreamWeaver
- Go to the Site menu and select New Site
- Enter the name of your web site in the first box.
- Please note that this does not have to be your web address.
- Enter the URL of your site in the second box.
- Click Next.
- By default, the first radio button should be selected.
- Only select the second radio button if your are planning on using server technology such as ColdFusion, ASP.NET, ASP, JSP or PHP.
- Click Next.
- You should keep the first radio button selected next to "Edit local copies on my machine, then upload to server when ready (recommended)" as it is safer to work with your files locally before you upload them in case you make a mistake.
- You must now select the folder on your computer that all of your files are located that will be associated with your web site.
- To browse for the folder that your files are in, click on the yellow folder icon next to the text box. Once you have located the correct folder, click select to return to the previous page. You should now see your folder listed in the text box along with the path that it is under.
- Click Next.

- You will now be asked how you connect to your remote server. Select FTP from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the hostname or FTP address of your web server as ftp.misk.com.
- Enter the folder where you will store your files (e.g.: yourdomain.com).
- Enter your FTP login. This will be your Misk username.
- Enter your FTP password.
- You may choose whether or not to save you password for future logins.
- Click the check box next to Use Secure FTP (SFTP).
- Click Next
- You will most likely leave the second radio button selected unless you are working in an environment that involves multiple people working on the same page simultaneously.
- Click Next.
- Click Done.
