Outlook Express

You may follow the instructions below to setup your email address through Outlook Express.

1. Open Outlook Express.
2. In the top menu bar, click Tools and then Accounts.
3. Click on the Add button and select the Mail option.
   
   
   
   
4. Then, enter your Display name in the corresponding field and click Next.
   
   
   
   
5. You will then need to enter your full email address in the E-mail address field. Click Next.
   
   
   
   
6. In the drop-down menu, select POP3 and enter the following information:
   • Enter pop.misk.com in the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server field.
   • Enter smtp.misk.com in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field and click Next.
     
     
     
     
7. In the Account name field, enter your Full Email Address. Then, enter the Password you created when you setup your new email address.
8. Click Next and then Finish to save your settings.
   
   
   
   
   
   
9. In the "Internet Accounts" window, select your new account and click on Properties.
   
   
   
   
10. You will now need to setup SMTP Authentication and change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) port number. Please follow the steps below:
    • Select the "Servers" tab and check the box next to My server requires authentication.
      
      
      
      
    • Click on the Settings button and make sure that the Use same settings as my incoming mail server option is selected. Click OK.
      
      
      
      
    • Select the "Advanced" tab and change the Incoming server (POP3) from 110 to 995. Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port from 25 to 465.
      • Also make sure to check the box next to This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) under Incoming server (POP3) and Outgoing server (SMTP).
11. Click Apply and then OK to save these settings.
    
    
    
    
12. You may then click Close to exit the "Internet Accounts" window.
