You may follow the instructions below to setup your email address through Outlook 2007.
- Open Outlook 2007.
- In the top menu bar, click Tools and then Account Settings.
- Click on New under the "E-mail" tab.
- Select the Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP option and click Next.
- At the bottom of the pane, click the check box next to Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.
- Select the Internet E-mail option and click Next.
- You will then need to enter the following information:
- Under "User Information", enter Your Name and your E-mail Address in the corresponding fields.
- Under "Server Information", select your Account Type as POP3 and enter pop.misk.com in the Incoming mail server field and smtp.misk.com in the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field.
- Under "Logon Information", for your User Name, enter your Full Email Address. Then, enter the Password you created when you setup your new email address.
- Click on the More Settings button then select the "Outgoing Server" tab in the next window.
- Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Make sure that the Use same settings as my incoming mail server option is selected.
- Select the "Advanced" tab and change the Incoming server (POP3) to 995. Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port to 465.
- Click the check box next to This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) under Incoming server (POP3) and select SSL next to Use the following type of encrypted connection.
- Click OK at the bottom of the "Internet E-mail Settings" window.
- Click Next and then Finish in the "Add New E-mail Account" window to save your settings.
