You may follow the instructions below to setup your email address through Mac Mail.
- Open Mac Mail.
- In the top menu bar, click on File and then Add Account.
- Under "General Information" in the "New Account" window, enter the following information:
- In the Account Type drop-down menu, select POP.
- Enter the desired name of your account in the Account Description field.
- In the Full Name field, enter your name as you would like people to see it.
- In the Email Address field, enter your Full Email Address (including '@yourdomain.com') and click Continue.
- Under "Incoming Mail Server", enter the following information:
- In the Incoming Mail Server field, enter pop.misk.com.
- In the User Name field, enter your Full Email Address.
- In the Password field, enter the password associated with your new email address and click Continue.
- Under "Incoming Mail Security" in the Authentication drop-down menu, select Password and click Continue.
- Under "Outgoing Mail Server", enter the following information:
- In the Outgoing Mail Server field, enter smtp.misk.com.
- Check the box next to Use Authentication.
- In the User Name field, enter your Full Email Address.
- In the Password field, enter the password associated with your new email address and click Continue.
- Under "Outgoing Mail Security" in the Authentication drop-down menu, select Password and click Continue.
- Check all of your settings, click Continue and then click Done in the last window.
- You will now need change the SMTP Server port number. Please follow the steps below:
- In the top menu bar, click Mail and select Preferences.
- Select the account to edit from the left pane of the "Accounts" window.
- Click the Server Settings button under the "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)" section.
- Next, change the SMTP Server port number 587 and click OK.
Additional Note: To send your email through an encrypted connection, please make sure to click the check box next to the Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) option.
- Click OK to close the "Accounts" window and save your settings.
