I am receiving a message: mailbox is at or near capacity.
If you are receiving this message you may upgrade the storage space for your email account or free up space in your inbox by deleting unwanted messages.
Upgrading your Storage Space
If you do not wish to delete messages you may purchase an Upgraded Email Package for your email address. This will increase the storage space of your email address from 20 MB to 250 MB.
Please view our guide on Increasing Email Storage Space for more information.
Deleting Messages through Webmail
- Login to the Webmail Client and take a look at the Quota bar.
- If your mailbox has reached full capacity, you will see this at or near 100%.
- Delete all unwanted messages and remove/purge them from the Trash folder.
Deleting Messages from your Email Client
If you are currently using an email client instead of our Webmail Client, you may need to adjust a setting in your email client itself.
Most email clients will allow you to "leave copies of messages on the server". This means that you will have a copy of the same message in your email client as well as on our server (in the Webmail Client). By de-selecting this option, messages will be downloaded off of our server but no copy will be made on the server. If you receive a lot of emails every day, this may be useful as you would not need to login to the Webmail Client and clear out your mailbox all the time.
