In order to transfer a .eu domain name to a new owner, the .eu registry charges a fee equal to a 1 year renewal for the transfer.

Please follow the instructions for Making a Manual Payment. The payment you make will be applied as a credit on your Misk Username.

Note: Expiration dates are calculated on the day that any action is taken on the domain name. For example: If the domain name is due to expire on 01-01-2008 and you initiate a transfer on 02-01-2007, the new expiration date will be 02-01-2008. Therefore, you will lose almost an entire year of your domain name registration. We recommend initiating .eu domain transfers as close to the expiration date as possible.

Please send your request from your current Administrative Email Address.

If you are not sure what your Administrative Email Address is currently listed as, please follow the instructions on How to Check Your Admin Email Address. If your Administrative Email Address is not up to date, please Update Your Contact Information.

Once your request has been received we will submit your .eu Domain Trade Request to the .eu registry for processing. During this process the New and Old Owner will need to respond to the confirmation emails that will be sent to their administrative email addresses.

Once the transfer has been completed we will notify you by email and 1 year will be added on to the domain registration.

Domain Trades usually take around 5 - 7 days to be completed.

No. Your original trade request will automatically time out when no parties confirm and once it has timed out you are free to initiate a new request, making sure that all details in the request are correct.
